Some clients prefer a free demand service in lieu of Precollection.
Free demand is when the client sends a copy, via e-mail, fax or mail, of the CSI
Final Demand form to the debtor, informing them that they have been placed for collection
with CSI. Upon receipt of a copy of the Final Demand form from the client,
CSI also forwards a demand to the debtor, notifying them that they have been
placed for Regular Collection. If the account is paid during the free demand period
(and CSI is notified of the payment within that time limit), there is no fee
charged to the client for the collection.
